Is your website stuck in the past? An outdated law firm website might be doing more harm than you think.

Your website isn’t a fine wine – it doesn’t get better with age (at least, not without maintenance!). If your site looks like a digital time capsule from 2010, potential clients could be drawing the wrong conclusions.

Why an outdated website hurts your firm:

>>> Credibility suffers: 75% of people admit they judge a business’s credibility by its website design. If your site feels old or clunky, trust can erode quickly.

>>> Poor user experience: Modern users expect a mobile-friendly, fast experience. An old site with tiny text or a broken mobile layout will drive visitors away.

>>>SEO impact: Search engines favor up-to-date, secure websites. Outdated tech (e.g., no SSL certificate, non-responsive design!) can hurt your Google rankings.

>>> Content stagnation: If the last “News” update on your site is from 2017, clients might wonder if you’re still active or paying attention.

The bottom line: an outdated website can make your firm seem out of touch, even if you deliver top-notch legal services.

Personal Insight: I once worked with a firm whose site still had a 2005 look and no mobile version. We gave it a modern facelift and saw an immediate jump in engagement – clients even commented that the firm felt “more current” just because of the new site.
